IIRC, the rule was that the snap had to touch the QB, or it was a false start. I like the rule change, and I bet the Colts, Steelers or whoever drafts McFadden will use it for at least one trick play. I know I would.

These rule changes drive me nuts. Why can't they just sit down, decide how this game is played, and that's it?

I like eliminating the force-out nonsense, but they should change the rule for a catch to require just one foot inbounds.

Isn't the force-out rule now the same as college?

In any case, if the DBs get too aggressive and hit the guy before the ball arrives it's pass interference. Well... depending on the ref's individual interpretation of pass interference.
