Late night ball: San Diego vs. Colorado

It's 11:56pm Pacific time and San Diego and Colorado have not completed their scheduled base ball match up.

We are now in the 18th inning.

Bottom of the 19th.

I've never actually seen a curfew rule invoked, we're half an hour away.

Actually, that's still an American League-only rule.

TWENTY INNINGS!!!

Tulowitzki's 0-for-6....Hawpe is 0-for-6...Iguchi's 0-for-6...

14 different people have stood on the mound.

It's times likes these when I'm glad I pay $19.99 for MLB TV Premium. Best of all, there is no curfew in the NL.

Gotta love the announcers when they were talking about the guys that obviously looked like they didn't belong in the seats they were in.

I don't understand the curfew rules anyway. The Yankees and Tigers ended a game at 3:30 am last season.

No yawner: Tigers top Yanks on 3:30 a.m. HR - Baseball - MSNBC.com

And I've been watching since the 8th. This is great.

I have seen it. It was an A's game a few years back. In fact, it might have even been an opening night game or close to it IIRC, and IIRC, there also were rain delay issues earlier in the evening. They couldn't start an inning after 1 a.m. How lame is that?

I don't have MLB TV because our ISP invoked a bandwidth limit, but I'm thanking the baseball gods for my Gameday Audio subscription right now.

The Rockies have nobody left on the bench by my reckoning. And they've got three left in the bullpen?

For those who are watching the Padres feed during the Giles AB, ignore the puppet, that is something local that outsiders won't get.

Both with 4 left in the bullpen, no benches. So, now it's basically 8 man lineups against 8 man lineups :P

Good to know it was a puppet, I thought it was a sign of them going mad.

Can a player who has been substituted leave the stadium and go and get some sleep or do all 25 players have to stay till the bitter end?
