I'd pick one from the Holy Trinity of Clutch

Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Joe Montana.

Dan Gable would have kicked his ass. An AMAZING athlete, and just as good as a coach.

High school: Undefeated, three state titles. In Iowa.

College: 118-1, two national titles with Iowa St. Big Eight Champion twice, NCAA Champion twice.

Olympic Gold medal.

College wrestling coach at University of Iowa, EIGHT consecutive NCAA titles. In 21 years as a coach, he won the Big Ten title ALL 21 years, and 17 NCAA titles. The greatest sports dynasty in college history, INCLUDING John Wooden's UCLA basketball teams. Record in dual meets was 355-21.

Under the current NHL rules, The Great One. Sid the Kid is special but let's see him do what Wayne did in the old NHL environment.
