Oh yeah. He has been my favorite player the last 2 years, since J.J. Redick graduated (I like shooters). He even had a down year this past year, and did not use any excuses.

I work at Thompson Boling Arena selling programs. (I'd be there anyway, better to get paid and see the game then buy season tix.) I have seen many a player come through UT. Lofton is the purist shooter I have EVER seen, PERIOD! He plays a game of around the world from about 2 steps beyond the 3pt line. He takes 20 shots. I have seen him hit 18 out of 20 more than once. He is a phenom.

How many players would have divulged his condition when he got off to the slow start? He never complained, never made excuses, just came to play every night! He will live forever in UT lore for that.

(It deserves to be mentioned that his teammate/roommate Jordan Howell kept his secret all season. He is a high character guy as well!)
