Los Angeles finally gets a professional football team!

I think it's about high time I finally use my degree and become a journalist. I'll be a beat writer for this league. I'll just need a press pass, and you can count on me giving interviews from inside the locker room.

Just give me 7-8 minutes afterwards for, um, preparing my story. Yeah, that.

Yea, I remember that.

I didn't realize the league hadn't actually started yet. I thought it had already been a season in and LA was an expansion team. Then I read some more and figured out that they are preparing for their first season in late 2009.

The team names are pretty good for a league that's obviously trying to promote sex. Hopefully, the WNBA steers clear of any of those team names for their league.

I want to be on the end of an unnecessary roughness penalty.

I can definitely deliver a face mask, if they don't mind. Heck, I'll deliver one as a surprise. I'll take my 15 yards.

Probably won't win many games taking all of the Delay of Game penalties. Who would want to break out of that huddle?

I wonder if any of those girls can take a stiff arm?

I'm all for Roughing the Passer...doggy style.

Might as well leave my name on the 20 yard line because I will always touchback.
