As for Tex being a PD...eh, he's been a good guy his whole career. What wrong has he done? You're basically making judgments based on how he looks. I imagine this is why Alex is hated so much too.
I hope you didn't change it on my account! How soon before we see the Yankee swimsuit issue again?

Nah, I didn't really want it up to begin with when I updated my profile. I just forgot to take it down after my promised time for it.

Yankees win again!

What the heck? We're in first place, by ourselves, for the first time this side of Joe and no posts? LOL

Ahh, you beat me to it. I was just putting down my newspaper to comment here about the pleasure of seeing the Yanks in first place all by themselves for the first time in a long time. It may not last, but it's nice for now.

Like Joe Girardi said when asked about it the other day, It doesn't mean much now, but its better then not being in 1st place. So true! It feels good, lets just build a lead.

I really like this team, I have a good feeling about them.

We set the ML record for most games without an error?? This bunch?? Maybe it's because Jeter is no longer getting to the balls in the hole at all instead of having them tip off his glove Seriously though, I've heard that Cano's glove work is greatly improved and having the young legs of Cabrera and Gardner patrolling the OF can't hurt either.

Answer -- So much that we can get our legs tied together, walking 3 legged for the rest of our lives and I'd love it.

I'm sick of people picking on Jeter's fielding, even Yankee fans now. Geesh, poor guy gets no respect. He's actually looked a lot better up the middle. But I think it is safe to say there would be no record without Tex at first, how many balls he has picked in the dirt during this streak has been amazing.

Jeter's poor fielding range wouldn't create too many errors anyway. Right now, everyone is making the routine plays which is what gets you this honor.

Fielding percentage isn't totally irrelevant. It has some value, though not much at all.

Pick your panties out of your teeth, I was kidding However, I definately agree that having a great fielding 1b saves a lot of errors.

Everybody knows this now, but I want it on record here.

Amazing fact: "New York's record-setting errorless streak ended at 18 games [Tuesday] when catcher Jorge Posada threw the ball into center field on Andrus' fourth-inning steal of second base." No other team in the history of MLB has played 18 games in a row without an error.

Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat today (again). Mo mowed 'em down, too.

Holy crap, let me go find a rock to hide under, I guess I'm blind.

I thought he was gone and not coming back... Can you go back to your original name, please?
