I'd like the Tigers. To settle 2006.

Hey, tell me true, is this thread dead? Have you guys to "Twins vs. Yankees" fled instead? Is it time to quit this while we're ahead, Fred?

In these pages I have truly bled,
and many a tear have I shed,
over damn nonsense I have read
from folks who just have no cred.

But if it is true, this thing I dread,
that to here you no longer are wed,
my Yankee fandom must be fed,
so to that other thread will I be led!

Can't let a good thread die. While it is nice for our pitchers to have the night off, it is driving me nuts and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game.

Hopefully AJ pitches a good one with Molina behind the plate. Not to look ahead too far, but I read tonight that Chad Gaudin appears to be the one who will start in the ALCS if it comes to that and Joba will stay in the pen. If Joba keeps pitching well in the playoffs from the bullpen I'm sure we'll be in for another round of the infamous starter vs reliever debate all offseason.

Is that the biggest home run of A-Rod's Yankee career? I'd say the monkey is off his back, at least for now.

I take back all of the bad things I've ever said about A-Rod. Wow! Awesome. I thought Swish hit that one out too, but we'll have to get them in the tenth.

Now with A-Rod hitting like this, I simply do not see how this Yankees team can lose a game...
Just too much to handle for any team in the world.

Well, if things don't go our way, that play (doubling Gardner off third) will be seen as the turning point of the series.

It is a good ballgame!

I am still watching the Yankees-Twins game on TV, even though the Red Sox-Angeles has started on my MLB.TV.

I wonder how much the "ghosts from across the street" paid the leftfield ump...WOW what a horrible call.

I feel pretty great with both A-Rod and Tex hitting now.

The umps have been terrible this whole postseason. If these are the best baseball has to offer we are all in trouble. But blaming umps for a loss is pretty pointless when you've got inconsistent strike zones the whole game, and bad calls throughout.

An inconsistent strike zone is one thing. Bad calls are another. Bad calls that aren't even close are completely a different thing.
