LOL!

They really do miss A-Rod. There lineup just seems filled with holes right now. Gardner, Ransom and Swisher as hot as he started the season is still just Nick Swisher the 210 hitter. Nady being out is hurting them as well because he seemed to be the guy along with Jeter getting the clutch hits.

After the signings of Tex, Sabathia and Burnett I had penciled the Yanks back in the playoffs. However after seeing some of the holes they left unattended to Im not as certain anymore.

The good news is Cano seems primed to win the batting title this year. Ive always liked him and could never figure out how he could linger around the 200 mark for stretches during the season.

Yankees order would be most productive this way!
Damon
Jeter
Cano
ARod
Tex
Matsui
Posada
Swisher/Nady
Gardner

There is no reason Swisher should be batting 4th at any time.

I'm not counting anyone out after 19 games. Too soon.

Once Girardi is fired, we'll have a normal lineup.

For a minute there last night, I thought that Tod Jones had somehow slipped back onto the Detroit roster.

Swisher is batting cleanup because the roster is jacked up right now.

Not talking about Arod isn't going to make him go away.

I think the situation works for me.

I'm interested in how the yanks are going to deal with this. The FO, Girardi, his teammates. I know he's never been especially liked in the clubhouse, but I would like to see how they react with the media.

What kind of reception will he get at Yankee Stadium?

It's strange sometimes, but I get the feeling that the team will rally around him, like an "us against them" thing, if he comes back with the right attitude. Like "Yeah, I made a mistake. Who hasn't?"

The fans, though, they are another matter. He might get some boos his first times up in the new stadium. If he does well, however, they will turn to cheers right away and all will be forgiven and forgotten. On the other hand, if he starts off slow, watch out. The fans will be all over him and you will be able to hear them in Hoboken.

All it takes to please Yankee fans is home runs and wins. If ARod provides this all will be forgotten. Id speculate 90 percent of Yankee fans would cheer Bonds if it meant a World Series Championship.

Of course I shouldnt single out Yankee fans because I think most fans are like this. The only fans that wouldnt cheer him are fans of the teams that have no chance of making the playoffs in the first place.

Is that a shot at O's fans?

Arod must not have given Selena Roberts what she really wanted. This is borderline stalking IMO.

She acts like it is abnormal to be a runt at one time (benching 100 pounds) and be able to almost triple that within a year. Obviously she hasnt researched her story again as it is not the uncommon at that age to develop physically within a span of a year. With a little hard work and motivation them numbers arent surprising at all.

Michael Jordan went from being cut his sophomore year to player of the year in the state and being recruited by NC his senior year. Is her assumption he did roids as well???

I don't think she's basing that off just numbers. I had a similar jump and I'm sure a lot of guys did who weren't on steroids.

Selena Roberts and those involved with this book are among the biggest scum on this earth. I am no A-Rod fan, but what they are doing is out right cruel to any human, especially one who's skin is not even paper thin. The fact that they delayed the release of the book proves they are out to ruin him. Here's a newsflash for Selena, nobody gives a crap anymore about A-Rod. I would be shocked if your book even makes the Best Seller's list. If I were A-Rod, with all my money, I would of had her off'd already. A car accident somewhere can easily rid of her and at least maybe make him feel a bit better. The only thing is A-Rod would some how get caught and hire the wrong lawyers to defend him, lol.

On another note, since A-Rod is already a total joke, his records and stats mean nothing and his place in history is tarnished he should very well still be on the HGH. He has so much pressure on him now to perform, what does he have to lose by using HGH? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! If it were me, you bet your a$$ I would be using this season and with no tests to prove I'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

I never had a real big jump in strength, I was of the tall, lanky build (6 feet, about 130 lbs, preactically had to eat 24 hours a day to maintain my weight). But, I remember my freshmen year in high school I was a pitifully slow runner, and then from Oct. to Feb. I guess I suddenly got coordinated. In 4 months I went from one of the slower boys in the class, to one of the fastest.

Why must they single out A-Rod from that list of 104 people?! I think that is evil, and I also think Selena Roberts is a crapface.

I think Rick Sutcliffe channeled me when writing this, a great read:

Well, nothing succeeds like success. I will grant you that it is harder to find a great starter than a great closer and if you have to choose one or the other from somebody with potential for both, you go with the starter. OK, then, no back and forth. And, we better be finding Mo's replacement, soon.

New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada has been placed on the 15-day disabled list after straining his hamstring against the Boston Red Sox. Manager Joe Girardi told reporters Tuesday he expected Posada to be sidelined for up to three weeks.
