Nearly half of the German squad could actually play for another country.
Andreas Beck - Russia Sebastian Boenisch - Poland Jerome Boateng - Ghana Think I'm right in saying his brother has chosen to play for Ghana. Dennis Aogo - Nigeria Sami Khedira - Tunisia Ashkan Dejagah - Iran Mesut Ozil - Turkey Marko Marin - Serbia Anis Ben-Hatira - Tunisia Gonzalo Castro - Spain I know Ozil has said he wants to play for Germany but Castro only played for them because the Spanish didn't pick him for an under 17 game or something so if they don't pick him he could well turn again and play for Spain. |

Players born in Germany-Ozil, Aogo, Khedira, Castro If England had to play without their black players, where would they be? France too.

Way the rule is now there is nothing stopping a country going round and actually buying young players like they do with athletes and such, bringing in a rule of your birth nation would fix that. |

And?? How many England players could also play for other countries because of their parents nationality? You cant play the nationality card. Of the big Euro footie countries only the Italians and the Spanish seem to play people who would have been Italian or Spanish more than 2 or 3 generations ago.

Haha I love CM with a passion. That's how I eventually found OOTP, been playing cm/fm for all these years. I remember not going out weekends at times during high school cause i had to get that season in, so I'm basically like and can relate to the sickos here who have problems putting these types of games down. Anyway, I'm just a guy who had the opportunity to play most of my life and eventually at a high level with good players over here. I truly love the game and am just a fan and student of it. I actually have the chance to get into coaching as an assitant at a division 1 school, girls though unfortunately. Not sure if I'm going to take the position yet, but if I can get involved at a young age I may have a future in the college ranks to one day be a head coach of a decent program. We'll see though, I'd much rather coach men, but because of title 9 there's twice the amount of women's college teams than guys so thats where most of the opportunities are.

So what? They still hold German citizenship or passports. That is all that matters.

Many will probably get impatient and rightfully so choose to play for a lesser national side simply because the German national club has no room for them.

I'd say I'm 100% sure that I could rattle of every World Cup winner and the year and their opposition and even the score but you know what I couldn't even tell you who won the last under 21's European Championship.

What it does do is stoke the fire under an already intense rivalry. It really doesnt get any better. It matches Brazil v Argentina as the best rivalry in football.
