The only good thing about FSC getting the rights is that they will start showing matches next week, a round earlier than ESPN did.

Too bad that cheapskate Whelan sold Cattermole. If Wigan had kept the best players they have had the last four seasons they might be in a position to compete for Europe.

I posted the league in the PBRL forums as well and hopefully a few of them see it and sign up teams.
I leave on holiday tomorrow so my team will be on auto pilot for the first few fixtures.

Whelan didn't want to sell him, it was down to the backhanded tactics of Steve Bruce keep saying he wanted to sign Cattermole even though Whelan and Martinez said on numerous occasions he wasn't for sale, in the end it unsettled him and it was Cattermole who wanted to leave.

We have enough midfield players to not miss Cattermole plus they doubled what they paid for him a year ago so not bad business, plus add the fact I'm not 100% that Cattermole is the type of player that would fit into what Martinez is all about as he prefers a passing type game were Cattermole doesn't fit into that type of team. Can't wait for 28th November, not so much in Cattermole's position but they will be crying for Bruce's blood when Sunderland come visiting.

And we have our first casualty of the English football season, yes after only 1 league game Bryan Gunn of Norwich is sacked. That 1 game was an heavy 7-1 defeat but they seem to have turned it around midweek with a 4-0 Carling Cup win over a decent Yeovil team but seems like it wasn't enough for the Norwich board, I'm just waiting for the day that a manager gets sacked at half time during his first game

I think all the hype about losing Torre and Adebayor is over with for now after that clinic they put on. Song looks like he's transforming into the next Viera as well. The bottom line is as long as Wenger is there they will always have on of the top teams and be a force each year.

I'm still reading mixed things, but my so far, it looks like a Saturday 7:45 am (Eastern time) game and possibly a Monday 3:00 pm game being shown.

What is the deal with Jamie Carragher? I see that he got no minutes and is not injured as far as I can tell. Is he not going to be a first team player?
He is on my fantasy team and I need to know if I need to transfer him.

EDIT: Wow....
I was going to just delete this post but I think I will leave it out of self deprivation.. Liverpool don't even play later today. Lack of sleep and posting on a internet forum is not a good idea.
