Yeah, if I were him, I'd be a bit annoyed about not being given a chance at the CG, SO. Especailly in the friggin NLCS!

Just got back from the game and the bank was electric. Sat in front of left field and got to heckle manny, see an offensive explosion, and witness lee pitch an amazing game. Still early but people there want the yanks and i hope i get to see the series there against them, the atmosphere would top last year for sure. The greatest thing is if they win in 5 and Lee doesn't get a chance to pitch again Ruiz has to have a legitimate shot to be the series mvpm go chooch.

Torre screwed the pooch tonight. Why he would start Kuroda in that type of weather is baffling. Lee was unhittable so I guess it didnt really matter but.... The Dodgers look bad in this weather. Very good sign for the Phils.

Woot! I just scored World Series tickets if the Phils make it. I'm sitting about 13 rows back from the first base dugout! My best friend's father is the president of Air Products in Allentown. Nice!

The Dodgers won a couple games in the playoffs in a similar fashion. Imagune how Cardinal fans felt when Halliday dropped that fly?

To be honest, I don't care how Cardinal fans felt. They can go watch their 2006 World Series DVDs.

unreal this team just never ceases to amaze me. This isn't the first time they've pulled something like this off this season so I'm not surprised at all, but man what a game. I think it's fair to say that they've been the best team in the nl over the past couple years, not much of an argument anymore. One win and back to the series.

That my friends was World Champion baseball. This is without a doubt the greatest team in Phillies history. What A Game.Even better than last year's game 4 when Stairs victimized Broxton.

Great game, love this team and these players, best Phillies team ever? I'd give them 2-3 more years before making that call.

The other day while watching my cousins football game I accidentally blurted out "****" when the team gave up a big play. A dad turned and gave me the evil eyes after I had done so. After hearing him brag about the Dodgers winning that night, I'll definitely be wearing my Phillies shirt to the game on Friday just to make him even more upset with me.

Disclaimer: I'm a Braves fan, and shouldn't own a Phillies shirt, but it was given to me as a present and this seems like a great time to break it out.

If they manage to go back to back? Best two teams the Phils have ever had. This team never gives up, and I love them more and more each game for it.

I love these Phils but the run they had from 1976-1983 is still the best period of the franchise's existence, imho. This team had a chance to do something similar and kept coming up a game short of the postseason year after year. At this point they're getting old enough that I don't think they have much of a chance of keeping it going long-term.

Amazingly, while this year they put together the best record they've had with the current team, 2009 ranks 14th in franchise history for win/loss % (and 5th since WWII, behind 2 Schmidt teams, the 93 team, and the Whiz kids).

This series has made it clear to me that the Phillies are the best team in baseball and I don't think anyone can beat them, even the Yankees.
