Screwed by the refs.
Two drives in the 4th that would have won it end poorly. Can't blame that INT on Favre.

Yeah, two big drives ending in 7 the other way. The first of which would not have happened if there wasn't the bad call on the negating a Rice TD. Hard to come back from a 14 pt swing like that. The last int was just one of those things. That's football though, it tends to come down to a little luck. Just didn't come up on the right side of the coin this week.
All in all, I was pretty impressed with how the team looked overall today. The passing game is now a real weapon, as our wrs are really coming into their own. Oh and that beast-mode catch and run by Purple Jesus was scary. I anticipate a nice beatdown of the Packers next week.

1) 17-13 would have been a nice place to be. They made a great defensive play but it would not have occured if not for the call. Instead it became 10-20.
2) The int came off a screen that bounced off the rbs hand and (un)fortunately bounced through the line into the arms of a lineman. Just one of those things, hardly the qbs fault. That's football. To quote Rasheed, both teams played hard my man. Both teams played hard.

I really don't get why everyone at every forum I go to hates the Vikings so much. And I especially don't get this quote that I see a couple times every week. I'm assuming you mean the 49ers and Ravens game. I don't call it luck when we dominate the first 50 minutes. Now I know the game is 60 minutes long and we blew the last 10 minutes but football is a team game and the kicker is part of the game and fact of the matter is, our kicker came through while theirs didn't. We deserved that win and got it. As for that 49ers game, we had a long field to go with very little time and if the 49ers were the better team that day, they should've been able to easily stop us. One sack or a big play would've derailed that drive and we wouldn't score, our offense was just better than their defense that drive. Of course luck plays a big role in every game, I'm sure you could go around to every team and find some place where luck plays a role. As for this game, luck played a role for the Steelers. That terrible tripping call, the deflection right into the Steelers hands. They're a good team and all the Vikings fans I know will admit the Steelers made the big plays when it counted so they deserved the W there. So I can't see why everyone can't give the Vikings their due credit and say their 6-1 record is deserved.

I like when people dislike the Vikings...makes me feel like they're a team that everyone wishes their team could be.
Then again, I also like when people like the Twins...for the same reason .

Oh. Yes, I wish I was a Vikings fan. Franchise of winners, right there. It took a franchise quarterback's vendetta against a divisional rival for them to be a Super Bowl contender.

Seems like a couple jealous posters in this thread
I love it.Today was huge for the Vikings in that they outplayed last seasons Super Bowl Champ in their own stadium. The result I wasnt worry about as much as it was how they played. They passed the test. With Green Bay on deck I didnt expect this kind of effort out of their defense. This game confirmed what I had previously thought. The Vikings are the team to beat in the NFC. The self destruction of the Bears still made this an enjoyable day
