Hairston and Molina starting over Swisher and Posada tonight.

I think the Yankees got this far despite Girardi. But that's just my opinion.

Molina always catches AJ and Hairston he cannot do any worse than Swisher has

I would agree with that. He seems to overmanage.

agreed and whether they win or lose tonight that's only going to become more of a liability once he has to make the tough bullpen decisions back in philly.

Hairston? He could at least have used Gardner.

ESPN has the best World Series Coverage with it's Baseball Tonight Crew but MLB Network has their's back in the Studio so I guess they don't want to have to spend money on a set or Chair's but at least Amsinger,Leiter,Verducci were their yesterday.

my point was i wished they showed the pitch tracker on those pitches, bc they were borderline. But they didn't. That is my point!!!! Why is this point so hard to comprehend?

They used it after the Marte/Utley AB, as TribeFan also mentioned.

My point was not that they were clearly balls or strikes, but that they were borderline. And that it would have been nice for them to bust out the pitch tracker for those borderline pitches to show where they did end up. That was all.

So you get fired from a job but end up somewhere that you then become more successful/higher paid at, you hold no grudge against that prior job? SUREEEEEE.

My comment on Buck was regarding me being under the false pretence of him being affiliated to the Redsox, and therefore by that affiliation being anti-yankee. In that sense, Suzyn Waldman would be anti-Redsox, not ant-Yankee. And yea...pretty sure if she started working for Fox and was calling a Redsox game, she'd be anti-RedSox.

Good tries though, A for effort.

No, your point was that they didn't show it because Buck and McCarver "hate the Yankees." And that is infantile whining.

Only a child would hold a grudge against a place when ended up at a better position. That's just stupid.

You're not doing too well here, though I think we're getting a good glimpse at your psyche. And that's always fun.

Thank you internet psychologist for being so amazing at narrowing in on my psyche and finding that one point through all of my posts and continuously harping on it. So amazing. Nevermind the numerous other posts, one comment about Buck and McCarver clearly shows what I MUST be thinking, the rest of all a cover.

Hopefully they can get some offense going. Bet they could use some runs from the first game now.

You're down 2-1, you leave Pedro in even though he's obviously tired, and then you relieve him with...Chan Ho Park? Why not just forfeit the game?

charlie kept pedro in an inning too long probably but with his performance and the bullpen holding them to 3 runs they did their job. The offense tonight was simply over matched by burnett and rivera which happens. The bottom line is they split in new york and go back to philly for three straight with the series tied against a new york team that has still failed to do much offensively in the past two games, they are in great shape.

Another great game. Pedro definatly suprised me, although he had to be amped pitching against his formal rival in the new stadium. Glad AJ pitched well throughout, was able to avoid his usual brainfart type innings where he gets real wild. Couple rough calls by the first base ump, although from his angle its hard to tell on the line drive that Howard short hopped and the play at first on the DP was a real tough one that usually can go either way, such a bang bang call over there.

Just glad we were able to tie this series up and get at least 1, preferably 2, down in Philly. If the rest of the series is like these 2 games, everyone except fans of the losing team should be happy with a great well played series.
