With all of the budget problems in California I would have to think legalizing the use and sale of marijuana and then taxing it would be an attractive option.

It is already more or less legal and once you legalized it and legitimized it the legal clubs that would put pressure on the illegal clubs and help curb that market.

While I agree with this completely -- Timmay was actually in Washington and not CA when he was pulled over.
