What did you think of the penalty against Charles Woodson? It happened right before the end of regulation. The WR ran straight at CW, knocked him over, and trampled on him. (It took CW a while to get up off the ground.) Who gets flagged? CW, of course. I wonder if GB has a reputation around the league for penalties. As a result, the refs anticipate penalties before they ever happen.

I didn't think it was fair because the replay clearly showed the WR running through Woodson, but understand the receiver has the right to run his route unimpeded and didn't mind the penalty being called the way it was.

I do agree there is something that has the refs calling games differently when the Packers are playing.

So now Brad Jones is likely to go on IR. How many more injuries can a team absorb before it cripples them for the season?

Season-ending injuries:

RB: Grant
TE: Finley
S: Burnett
S: Martin
LB: Barnett
LB: Poppinga
LB: Jones
DL: Neal
DL: Harrell

Missed games (or parts of them) due to injury:

T: Tauscher
TE: Lee
CB: Shields
CB: Underwood
LB: Matthews
LB: Chillar
DL: Jenkins
DL: Pickett

PUP List:

CB: Harris
S: Bigby
RB: Starks

Did I forget anyone?

That is a lot of linebackers. I miss the psycho package.

Is it even possible to use this game as a measurement of our team with the Cowboys being a complete mess?

A sincere farewell to Al Harris. I will always remember your timely pick-six of Matt Hasselbeck.

That is before my time but I'm guessing that was in the "We want the ball and we're going to score" game...

Lotta credit goes to Dom Capers and the defensive unit: 10 points surrendered total in the last three games.

Not being a WI native, I missed this. But it's pure class: http://media.jsonline.com/images/mjs-al-harris-ad.jpg

Thanks, Al. Best of luck with the Dolphins.

I saw that in the paper and thought it was a very nice gesture.

Sometimes I hate the business side of the sport. It would have been nice to have had Harris retire as a Packer.

dola,

I was expecting a loss here today anyway. Atlanta is good, especially at home.
