Since you're so good at this game. Where did I say I felt sorry for him?

I haven't read that in the news. If he isn't, this sort of chatter is only speculation and opinion. In fact, I didn't even read anything in that article that even touched upon the possibility that he is mentally ill/challenged. Maybe one of his ex-wives that he's paying child support to has indicated that he has mental issues? |

That's the problem, you haven't said anything. Show me where you said you "don't" feel sorry for him. At least I stated my feelings and explained why I feel that way.

2 different instances where I said I don't feel sorry for him. As in feeling sorry for him I don't. If feeling sorry for him is hair on my head and I don't have any..I don't feel it.

As for the article itself, there's this quote near the end, which clearly shows that the issue of depression was at least discussed during the interview: He says he's never been diagnosed as clinically depressed but he's been "real down." Can't speak for anyone else, but to me, that would come as no surprise and would help explain a lot about the guy's erratic, aberrant behavior. Truth is I'm not that concerned with the guy's life to know (or care too much) about what's really going on, though. All I was saying is that the observations you made concerning mental illness in your previous post were completely off. And, as someone who has had first-hand experience with depression, I found that not only offensive, but extremely ignorant. |

He has made some bad business decisions but that is mainly from surrounding himself with bad decision makers. His agent Drew Rosenhaus lost $14.5 million of his money in an investment scheme that virtually amounted to a ponzi scheme.
As I said before, we are expecting someone who was a sub-standard highschool student and probably never had any business being in college to manage $80 million. There are quite a number on this forum who would have trouble with that kind of fortune. Much less someone who if not for sports probably would have dropped out of highschool. I think there are a lot of parallels with Mike Tyson. Mike also surrounded himself with a group of people who were only there to steal from him. Now Tyson is more or less broke. But he also seems to be happier than at any point in his life. I think his wife and children have been a moderating force for him. I hope one day TO can reach that point. |

Did anyone forget that he fathered (was it 4?) children on a whim and and thinks being Terrel Owens and paying $$$ to their mothers is sufficient father duties?
That's why this country is hell in a hand-basket. Charles Ingalls would totally punch his ass out. And you know you're a douche when Charles has to punch your ass out. |
