By the time Braun comes back the Brewers could be 20 games out of the race.

It's unfortunate what has happened to the Brewers (says even a Tigers fan). I don't like seeing teams struggle year-in-and-year-out. And I don't like seeing the same few teams make it to the play-offs (unless its Detroit

). So when a team like the Brewers can get out of their annual hole I really like it. And I like it even more when they can stay out of the hole and knock the Every-Years down.

IF Braun get's suspended this team would need to be nearly 0-50 to be out of 1st by 20 games after only 50 games.

This team is still really good and while they lost a huge bat at 1st, they did dramatically improve 3B and SS so that should hopefully make up for some of the loss. Also when compared with last year they will have Hart and Greinke assuming they stay healthy to start the year when last year they were without them both for 20 games.

Sure they could have a bad year but this is still a very good and competitive team at least through the end of 2012 when several more critical players will likely leave for FA and turn the team into full blown rebuilding. They should compete this year but baseball is a hard sport to predict so who knows.

I'm pretty sure he's still active. He played the Super Bowl Halftime Show a few years back, even!

When Braun comes back from what? Last I checked he's in the Opening Day lineup until someone says otherwise...
