Kevin Love's "Stomp"

Kevin Love stomps the face of Luis Scola - YouTube

This has been all over the news with his suspension and such so I wanted to see what everyone else thought. To me it seems 100% accidental, the first thing you do after scoring a basket is to turn around and run up the court and Scola is still on the floor in his way. Scola puts his hands up in self defense and catches Love's feet which forces him to come down on his chest. Can someone explain how you not see it that way?

It looked somewhat intentional to me. For example, if it was me I think I would have thrown my foot out further, maybe injuring myself, once I realized Scola was there. Besides, earlier in the game Scola threw the ball into Love's nuts so he probably wasn't too happy about that.

Hard to say. Looks like they got tangled up underneath the basket and Love had Scola wrapped up and then threw his arms off of him and Scola fell.
It probably warranted a double technical and then a review after the game to see is Love should have served a suspension.
Scola and Love were going at it all game and most of the blame should go on the officials for not issuing double technicals earlier in the game and cutting this off before it even got going.

Looks like a heat of the moment mistake to me.

Unfortunate and not something people should remember or think of when they see Kevin Love.

Thankfully the guy wasn't hurt.

Sorry, I think that warrants a short suspension and a fine. It was a heat of battle thing, sure, but it looks intentional to me.
