Playoff Predictions -- If They Started Today?
If the playoffs started today. It would look like this...
National League NL Wild Card: Atlanta vs San Francisco -- Winner plays Los Angeles. Other Matchup: Washington vs Milwaukee (Milwaukee homefield advantage) American League AL Wild Card: Toronto @ Los Angeles -- Winner plays Oakland Other Matchup: Detroit vs Baltimore (Baltimore homefield advantage) How would you predict this to play out, if this was the playoff pool?

I have Detroit and Milwaukee in the world series. But I'm bias.

I think Oakland will be VERY tough to beat with the rotation they've assembled.

Your discounting St. Louis, don't count them out just yet.

I see the Cardinals, Pirates, and maybe even the Reds finishing ahead of the Flukers.

That said, if Atl and Wash both made it to the NLCS, then Atl would win; they have dominated over the Nationals all season long. Wash v. Mil -- Milwaukee would likely pull it out. I don't follow the AL anywhere near as close, but I believe it will be Oakland and Baltimore in the ALCS...and probably Oakland in the WS. |

San Francisco might get into the wildcard but then gets decimated by LA. They are just old and beat up ...
