I want 2 ask u baseball xperts somethin'
I was watching some old baseball clips on youtube. I'm not into the "poetry" of the game like a lot of baseball fanatics. But if you could have anyone's swing, from a pure aesthetic viewpoint, would you want anyone else's above Junior's? Hitting is an art, but Griff's just looked like art. I really tried to look at some others, but I swear nobody else's came close to me. Am I narrow-minded on this?

Your opinion is your opinion. Other people saying that you're being narrow-minded on this, that's their opinion.

I know. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". But I was like, "if you had a choice, why would you choose any other?" I mean some of his 450ft blasts still looked like he was just lobbing a tennis shot over the opponent's head into the back corner. When it comes to swings, he and Gary Sheffield were complete opposites. Sheff looked like he was fending off Klingons w/a bat'leth. Griff looked like he was conducting an orchestra's rendition of a waltz.

I'd say not close minded. Grif had a beautiful swing. I'd say Robinson Cano comes a pretty close second. His swing reminds me a little of grif actually.

I'll never understand how he received 4.4% of the vote his only year on the HoF ballot.
