...I have to go to work. Can someone take this for me so I can get a good laugh when I come back?

Santana's good and all... but this is just ridiculous.

While I agree Santana's a great pitcher and I held onto him in my baseball leagues last year even when the bumbling twins wasted him in the pen, theres no way hes gonna be the Cy Young. He wont beat out the boston duo, vazquez with his 25 wins as a yank, the oakland trio, or the rest of the great pitchers in the AL

twins15 did you see the article in SI (Manning cover) about what teams South Dakota fans root for? I know you're ND, but still any press about a Dakota is good press.

Like Twins15, I hope. But I doubt.

It would be great, but I don't think the Twins made the proper moves this offseason. Granted, their ****ing miser of an owner had everything to do with that, but the Twins org didn't get it done.

It'll be a solid but unspectacular year.

The correct title should read:

"Johan Santana WILL NOT WIN THE CY YOUNG!"

Santana is of course not the best pitcher yet. However, with some luck he can surely win a Cy Young.

Yep. And you are right, any press is good press, because North Dakota doesn't get much press. Also, I am eagerly waiting for the North Dakota section in SI. Does anyone know where I can find a list of when each state will be in the magazine?

Why are there always less stories about North Dakota than South Dakota?

Wait, which one is which again? I always get them confused. Is one of them the one with the stark cold tundras?

I don't think he deserved it this year, but will likely be a main contender again next year. Although Vazquez won't win 25, the AL contenders will probably be similar (minus Loaiza) and add Vazquez to the list. I'm expecting falloffs from Brown and Schilling. They'll be good, but I doubt Cy good.

Us North Dakotans are not ego hungry like South Dakotans.
