Cubs sign Enrique Wilson
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?...mlb&id=2062500
The Cubs obviously want to send a message to their fans that they have absolutely no intention of winning anything this year. This is, of course, the famed Enweakque Wilson of the career .246/.288/.352 line and 65 OPS+, who had left the Yankees (who played him in more than half their games last season, signalling that he may have blackmail pictures of one or more Yankees executives) angry that they didn't start him more often.

Why do we need Enrique when we already have Neifi Perez? Are the Cubs collecting useless spare parts or what?

This is sad, but I vividly remember when Wilson was a big prospect for Cleveland and the press was saying he would be the next Carlos Baerga. I guess if you go with the 2nd half of Baerga's career this is actually pretty accurate.

I cant believe they got him with all the teams that have been beating down his door. Everybody knows he's still a productive player and the Cubs managed to steal him away from everyone. Good Job!!
