Universe Pre-History

I'd like a feature when creating a new universe, where the player can determine the number of months the universe has been in existence prior to the player "entering" it. This way there will be an established history, with veterans, up and comers, and ranked fighters.

This feature, while not necessary for 2.5, may actually be something very useful for 3.0.
