I move that:
The TBCB bug in which fighters have bouts in their history that never took place heretofore be known as the CES bug.

That said, I'm still looking forward to the road trip to R.I.

If we end up paying $65 and driving a few hours to see Deep Six, a chick and a few 4-rounders I plan on shouting unkind words at Jimmy Burchfield all night. That is if he bothers to show up with his crooked smile and $2,000 suit.

I'll bring my chess board and a card table to set up in the ring. I'll challange anyone to a game as a "time filler" between lousy 4-rounders.

I'll bet the "Sharpshooter" scored tickets to the Red Sox game Friday night!

Israel "Pito" Cardona returns
Apparently, "Pito" Cardona is returning to the ring again in a November 8-rounder as cannon-fodder for upcoming Philly WW Mike Jones 11-0-0 (11).
When I last saw Pito at Mohegan Sun back in April, he looked lethargic in his UD-8 loss to Juan Manuel Buendia. If I'm not mistaken, he decided to retire after that bout.

Mike-Mike & Grano @ Mohegan Sun
Looks like Mike Oliver and Tony Grano will be on the Richard Cappiello promoted card @ Mohegan Sun on Thursday November 8.
Mike-Mike will face tough Al Seeger 27-2-0 (21) for the USBA Super Bantamweight Title Grano will challange the always dangerous "TBD"

Only three pro bouts on card, rest are Service Acad. and Native American ammys. I'd be a little less interested now, but the top seat is $75.

Don't forget unforseen traffic accidents logjamming the highway for 2.5+ hours.

Anyways, New Haven native Ayala fought to a draw w/ Sergio Mora. Scores: Raul Caiz Jr.: 96-94 Ayala, Max DeLuca: 95-95 EVEN, David Mendoza: 99-91 Mora I don't know if how close the fight was, but the Mendoza score looks a bit suspect.

Nov. 24 at the Conn. Convention Center
In the main event on "The Heat's on in Hartford" card, Matt Godfrey (16-0, 9 KOs) of Providence defends his NABF cruiserweight belt against Jeremy Williams (42-5-1) of Long Beach, Calif. There are five other bouts right now, all with one fighter thus far. This being a CES card, a) some of those fights will NEVER have a second fighter b) I will wait until at least Nov. 22 before I even consider buying tickets For the record, those with a 50-50 chance of actually fighting that day include cruiser Aaron Williams 15-0-1, sup. feather Matt Remillard 11-0, middleweight Joey Spina 20-1-1 and jr. welter Adelita Irizarry 2-1. the last two CES cards I went to were announced originally as nine- and seven-bout cards and actually had five apeice. So what's this going to have? Four?

Mohegan Sun
Just about ready to head out to Mohegan Sun to see the fights w/ my step-dad. Only 3 pro bouts listed.
Al Seeger should be a good test for Mike-Mike. I don't think he's seen anyone with Seeger's power yet. Also hope that Grano's bout lasts more than a minute & a half.
