Mike Miller (boxrec #334840) who was beaten by Grano. I doubt that there are many photos floating around of this dude so this may be as good as it gets.

Good work Chris. I was wiped out by the end (1 a.m.), but I had a blast.
I even managed to scrounge two tix to the post-fights VIP bash, but I didn't go. I imagine I wasn't the only one.

Jackie Kallen was most cool. I never spoke to her before in my life, and she chatted a couple times during the night. Ditto for women's lightweight (and former featherweight) champ Missy Fiorentino, who was hanging out. Her I've talked to once before and she's always great.

One other thing about that Estrada fight that was kind of humorous:

Somewhere around the fifth round, it was obvious that we were in for a crappy distance bout. But, Wheeler was at least trying from time to time (he looked like no one had ever taught him how to actually throw a jab) so I tried to get our section to start chanting Wheeler's name. Then I saw some rather large dudes from Providence across the way that looked none to pleased.

Lesson learned.

But man, Estrada really stunk up the joint. I've heard that he wasn't too bad early on, what's happened?

We had seats right on the aisle to the dressing room . . .
after yelling "Get a job" during the fight, I thought it prudent to keep quiet when he was three feet away

That's the best of the pics I found for the 23 September 2006 card at the Connecticut Convention Center. There really was no photo of Estrada's opponent Maurice Wheeler.
