It kind of sucks that frosh get little playtime for Centre. Is their a possibiliy of going to another D3 school or a 1AA school recruting Nate?
I heard from someone else that most 1AA on down does most of their recruiting in January and February. Centre does things a little different .. they target kids that play and have the grades needed to go there, since it is so expensive they go after them a bit earlier so parents can get the financial situation in order.

We will listen if we hear from other schools but Nate's best friend goes there and two of his other friends are looking at it. The education at Centre is worth not playing much his freshman year.

We need to plan a tailgate party at a Centre game during his time there....maybe get a few of us down there.

No dedicated radio stream. They televise one game a week and pick one for radio broadcast, so it is a crapshoot. We have appeared on each venue once this Season.
They play all over ... A couple of teams are in Texas and one is in Colorado Springs. We intend to travel to every home game his junior and senior year but it would be fun to host a tailgate party at home for TBCB guys!

What a game!!! We had the TV game of the week tonight against 3rd seed Marcos De Niza and we were able to hang on for the 36-34 victory and advance to the State Semi Finals for the first time in School history!!

We have a week off before the semi's and then we play 10th seed South Mountain who upset 2nd seed Pinnacle tonight.

This is a great run, and besides being drunk, I am mentally exhausted right now.

The Centre coaches visited Bullitt East today. Nate said the meetings went well. He will have another official visit on January 5th. On January 20th, they submit a list of 25 kids they want for football to the admissions department. This enables admissions to find them more $$$. Nate brought home a highlight film also .. I will see if I can get it up on the computer.

I have no doubt that Nate will be on the top of that list

Hopefully you can get the highlight film up. That would be cool to see.

Wasn't able to get it transferred over to the computer because the cd is bad. He is going to redo it because Hanover College, Georgetown College (KY), and Eastern Kentucky are looking at him.

Are those other division III schools? Well whenever Nate gets the chance to transfer it over to the computer, by all means post it.

For sure, I would love to see that as well.

And to echo Bear, happy Thanksgiving to all!

Hanover is D3, Georgetown is a fantastic NAIA team, Eastern Kentucky is D1AA.

The DVD was glitchy so when I tried to convert it from DVD to WMA it wouldn't work.

I was able to covert the first two games, but it is too big to post here. Any suggestions on where to post it?

Okay I put it up on yousendit which will last 7 days. Here is the link

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...0EBCCF31C6DB63

It is the first two games of the season. First one was at Papa John's where Louisville plays. Remember it is highlighting all aspects of his game so it shows blocking and gunner work on punts also. Usually he is the focal point of the video but not always.

In the second game there is a play that BE fumbles the ball, took me like three times to figure out why it was there, but watch the kid on the team in white near the top of the screen with the cast on his arm. Nate is #7 in case anyone didn't know.

It's also pretty fuzzy from the conversion.

Thanks for putting that video up Mike

Those two games showed why Nate was MVP of BE. He ran, caught passes, and lined up at QB a few times. He's a really gifted athlete and should be a star for whatever college he plays for.

Gees, Nate is like Kordell "Slash" Stewart, they line him up everywhere. I tell you what, he would have started at Wingback for us this year, that was the one piece we are missing, a runner who can keep the defense honest on the weakside run game , who is a great receiver as well. He would have been a great compliment to Conley and Nicholson in our backfield.

He is the kind of player we love as Coaches, plays several positions and gets the job done no matter where you play him. Good stuff Mike!!

Thanks guys ... when the last two college coaches visited BE, Coach Vincent who is in charge of all the subbing in and out, told the college guys that he could have sent Nate in at OG and he would have gotten creamed but he would have lined back up and gave it all he had again on the next play.

North Bullitt who beat us in round 1 ... went on to beat Marion County last week. Tonight they traveled 3.5 hours to Paducah, KY to take on 12-0 Lone Oak. Lone Oak's QB set the national record for most TD's in a season last week and has something like 87 now. They throw the ball 88% of their plays and most of their running plays are scrambles from the QB.

They are talking a lot of smack but they played no team higher than 4A this year (North and Lone are 4A) and played 5 teams that didn't win a game. Meanwhile North played only one 3A team and the rest were 4, 5, and 6A teams.

One of the best running, ball control teams against an air attack should be a good one. I think they are webcasting it here at 8:30 EST.

This is a great game so far .. 27-21 North at halftime. The Lone Oak QB seems to be everything he was advertised to be.
