Good luck to your son mh. Keep us posted...enjoy football nearly as much as boxing. I live in WV..and travel to Kentucky,Ohio and Pennsylvania for football. Sounds like a strong team..but the loss of the offensive lineman must be a concern.

Thats the truth, is there anything more frustrating then watching a offense with good skill position talent stuggle becuase the line can't block a soul.

The line will do better .. they are adjusting from a big power line to a fast O-line. The have 3 not so tough games to gain the experience before we face Central.

It's hard to win a game when you draw 12 penalties for 110 yards. And we didn't. Dropped the game 23-20.

Not a good night for our offensive line. 7 holding calls (6 on linemen).

My boy had a good game though. 4-8 for 48 yards, 3 PR for 5 including a 36 yarder, averaged 19 yards per kick return on 3 KR's.

His four misses, none were drops. He also stripped a guy who picked off a pass and the play was called incomplete. So not a bad game for him other than losing.

Young team, only two more non-conference games.

Ouch, tough break for the your son's team there. Yeah, it's hard to win a great with that many penalties unless there is a massive gap in talent between the teams. Well hopefully this will be a good learning experience for the O-line and they can play better next time or at least learn how better to hold without getting caught. Though, it is good to hear that your son played well despite the loss.

I guess the bright spot would be that even with 7 holding(drive killers)penalties they still only lost by a field goal. I know that isnt much of a consolation but its something to think about. Clean up the penalties and its probably a nice win. Keep us posted.

To be honest Chris i look a bit of a dork in that pic but hell when your out with a few ex army buddies and the beer takes affect, well a lot of things seem a good idea at the time. Never judge a book by its cover and never think because a guy talks tough on a forum that in fact he is. Best advice i could give to anyone is "Treat others as you yourself would like to be treated and you wont go far wrong"

Question can you really call it a rivalry when one team has won 9 times in a row and has a 13-4 lead overall? Well, hopefully history holds course and ya'll beat them again.

Thanks Romy ... at least you're not pulling for the other team just because of all the rivalries we have going on this board LOL

Yes, I find that a lot around here. "Come to my house..." "I'll come to your house..." blah blah blah.

Silly.

Bullitt East 55 Bullitt Central 6

that is the way to bounce back!

BE didn't throw much tonight, Nate only had 1 catch for 14 yards .. but he played CB all night and played well but the main thing is he was a monster on special teams. A 45 yard kick return and a 41 yard punt return (to the 3 yard line). Both time BE scored on the next play.
