Calling Asian experts!

Chartchai Chionoi is about to enter my uni, I had a look and on first thoughts he seems to be too lowly rated (3)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

FWIW boxrec lists him as the 4th best Thai flyweight of all time and the 27th overall ... 3 might be a little low.

Yes, Chionoi rating of a "3" is tremendously low - His "chin" ratings of "4" are flat out wrong. This man fought 66 times (VS qaulity opponents) before he was ever stopped. A 3-2-3 would be more accurate (with absorb punishment around a 2 as well) - His 4 TKO losses came at the end of his career Vs quality competition -

He was one tough SOB (who started boxing professionally at the young age of 15 years old).

He fought top quality competition throughout his carrer (including late into his career) and came back from defeats well - He won the Fly Championship 3 times Vs top good opposition.

His defense rating of a "6" is way high as well - To the point of making no sense - He was by no means a "defensive" fighter....but he was a crafty slugger who would (and did) slip shots.

Thanks Meade, I have adjusted him inline with your thoughts (Def 3), and he comes out a 5
