As for Lacy, all I can say is that I am officially off the Lacy bandwagon..lol. Wow,if you would have told me that Tsypko would have given Lacy fits I would have laughed at you a couple of years ago. Man...talking about being exposed. No way he competes with the big boys. Takes some of the sparkle off of Calzaghes victory. What a huge dissapointment for a lot of people...myself included. I ate so much crow after the Calzaghe fight that I had feathers coming out my ears. Take nothing from Calzaghe though..just wonder how significant that victory is now. I think Kessler is licking his chops.

I don't think anyone can say winky fight was not a good scrap, so we can get the boring title off him for now.

I didn't watch the Jeff Lacey fight (Dvd-r didnt record it) lol but i heard he got hurt, what round so I can see it thanks!

I think he claimed he hurt his shoulder in the 5th. He just looks like he has no confidence right now .. before the Calzaghe fight he would have destroyed this guy.

I disagree that it taints Calzaghe's victory .. confidence is a huge part of boxing and Calzaghe straight jacked Lacy's.

Wright is starting to fight more now that he is older. He seems to be doing well with the new style ... I happen to agree with Eric here (stop the presses) he has gotten more exciting.

Now on comes Taylor and Ouma .. still very disappointed in this one since the are two of my favorites .. I don't see Ouma going the distance here though. He gets hit to much and is stepping up even higher in weight.

Lacy isn't a bum but you can see bums from where he is. Manny says it is confidence or whatever......I don't really want to hear that......Lacy just isn't that good. They put a bunch of bums in front of him and he looked good against them. The first real fighter he faces eats him alive and he gets a gift against a good fighter last Saturday in his hometown.

He looks like David Reid to me. Three years from now, he will be out of the sport. His eyes are swelling shut now after minimal damage.......he gets hit flush way too much. He best cash in now.

Taylor vs. Ouma fight is so damn intriguing to me because it could end up being totally different from what you would expect!

Common sense says Taylor gonna catch ouma early coming in with a right hand, Ouma chin can be tested early as he tends to need to warm up.

But I have a feeling, that even tho Taylor may be the best athlete in boxing right now, he do not have a strong will and tends to get over excited when the crowd get involved, and being this is a home town fight I can see Taylor throwing rights missing ouma getting him against the ropes, beating him up swelling him up, and then knocking him out.

Or Taylor can just out box him in the middle of the ring, lol this fight is one of those fights where my brains says Taylor easily and early, but my heart just keep thinking this going to be a war, and it will end with Taylor maybe taking a decision and the fight being so good, that the public would demand this one over Wright.

But however it goes I am just excited about this one, and as Mh knows, im not a big Taylor fan, but I do respect his talent, and ability to make good fights even if its one sided.

Quick note, I think Taylor wins alot of these close decisions (except Hopkins 1 which i had it 117-111 for hops) because his enthusiasm, he just looks like he wants it more when he throws punches it looks like he just want to do good!
IDK, my cousin is a big fan of his so I guess his passion gets to me sometimes lol!

OH YEA!
Can someone tell me the round that everyone is saying lacy got hurt because I don't remember it, (I was drinking lol) I thought he did ok, but people saying he was hurt bad and ****, and I just dont remember seeing that.

He is a tough guy,lot of heart, but some of his punches are looping punches that a quick fighter could take advantage of. I think Paul Williams will put a whipping on Tony. I think Williams will be able to overwhelm Margarito with his work rate and the fact that he throws straight and stiff punches that should have no trouble finding a home on Margaritos jaw. Also, look for Williams uppercut to play a major role in a fight with Margartito. How do you guys see a Margarito/Williams scrap?
Well I for one do not think anyone fear Margrito now, but people have to remember, Clottey is a hell of a fighter! He has a tight defense some pop, very quick hands and a good chin! But that is not the margarito I know, and a fight with Williams at this stage would be an easy one for Antonio IMO.

He was out on his feet at the end of round 9 I think. I guess that big money fight won't be coming for a year.
