JC Chavez Jr.

According to boxrec, he will be fighting Michael Stewart on the undercard of the Cotto-Judah fight in June. Big step up in competition for him.

I wasn't a big fan of Jr, but he looked good the last time I saw him. I like his chances against a shot Stewart.

Paez Jr. was another I wasn't high on. He seemed to have a shaky chin and I just read he wass stopped by an "opponent."

Wow that surprises me about Paez Jr. of all the offspring I thought he was the most talented. JC jr. has looked better every fight I've seen him in.

I won't deny that Stewart has seen better days but he did beat Ebo Elder in the Contender and it's a definite step up for jr.

According to boxrec, Paez Jr. was TKOd in the 4th round yesterday by 7-11 Ramon Guevara. Ouch! He is, however, only 19. Will be interesting to see how he bounces back from this disappointment.

Even though JC Jr. has taken the slow road with his career so far, I can see him being the most successful out of all the "Juniors". I have seen him fight a few times and he has improved gradually with what I have seen. JC Sr. has done the right things in regards to his sons' career IMO.

I was worried about Ebo after his last fight before the contender. I though he was completely shot. He looked better than I thought against Stewart until he got tagged. I'm glad he has retired. He took too many shots in his short career.

Regarding Paez Jr:

In a major upset, journeyman Ramon Guevara (8-11) scored a fourth round TKO over previously unbeaten Jorge Paez Jr. (12-1, 8 KOs), son of the famed clown prince Jorge Paez. Guevara floored the much-hyped Paez in the final round, then followed up with an all-out barrage to get the stoppage at 2:13.
