This card comes on at 3:30 on FSN I believe.

I'll Take both Adamek and Golota with mid round stoppages.

Who keeps giving Jeremy Bates a boxing license he is a joke. Not sure what can be taken from Golota blasting him out in two rounds.

Boxing is not Jeremy Bates first profession. I think he just takes on the big names to earn some cash. Bates has no skill whatsoever but you can't question his courage. It takes a lot to get into a boxing ring knowing your going to get beaten to a pulp.

True .. I never question the courage to step into the ring but someone needs to save him from himself.

Off to watch Adamek/Pineda

Pretty impressive performance by Adamek for his first cruiserweight fight

I agree. Adamek looked good at CW. A lot of people say that division is a wasteland but it has a lot of talent. Good mixture of prospects and seasoned veterans.

Made Dawson's win over him look even more impressive.

Yeah, who'd think a guy could go from 175 to 196 & beat up a decent guy like that? I mean Pineda's not chopped liver with 21 wins & 18 KO's.

Mike, I thought the same thing about Dawson.

Adamek was schooled by Dawson but he was very gracious in defeat. He complimented him and said that "Bad Chad" will be a force in the LHW division for years to come and also commented that Chad was also the best fighter he ever fought. So basically Adamek knew for him to be a champion again he would have to move up to CW.

Pineda is not a slouch at CW but his chin prevented him from becoming a champ. He definitely a "dangerous" gatekeeper who can pull an upset if fighters look past him. He just will not beat the elites of the division.
