FNF from Montreal

Anyone watching it tonight? They have three good fights that will be aired.

Antonin Decarie vs. Aaron Drake (6 rounds)
Jean Pascal vs. Christian Cruz (12 rounds)
Herman Ngoudjo vs. Randall Bailey (12 rounds)

Could be a breakout night for the prospects from Quebec. Time will tell.

Espn Fnf 6/8

Excellent fight between Randall Bailey and Herman Ngoudou. Herman gets a narrow SD win in his home town. I thought it was close but Bailey won.

Hard not to give it to Herman though if you look at the punch stat #'s.

Very entertaining though in the middle of a downpour and the lights going out.

Mike......you did it again

FNF from Montreal

I thought Ngoudou eeked out a very close decision based on his work rate but at times during the fight he was too patient. Bailey was definitely landing the harder shots but he was just a bit more tenative to initiate the action.

The storm (temporary blackout) and the festive atmosphere of the fans really made it entertaining and fun. There are some loyal and great boxing fans up north.

Pascal was impressive despite the fact his heavybag opponent was a replacement on three days notice. His originally scheduled opponent was a lot better and would have told if he was ready to go to the next level. My concern with Pascal is that he's not technically sound which might cost him as he moves up the ladder.

i only watched the Jean Pascal fight and i was impressed with his accuracy and his defensive skills not great power wise, he was landing to many clean combinations that were not putting the guy down. i didnt like the towel throw he was getting dominated but it was the end of the 10 or 11th round, why then. but 83/110 to the body was impressive
