Why is the performance points in the game color coded, (gold, blue, white)?

I believe it has to do with streaks, orange means they have been on a hot streak while blue means they have lost a few too many of their last fights.

Actually, the color is indicative of how many prestige points they possess. I have many fighters who are winless with orange colored prestige points. All the fighters in my universe start at 1000 points.

I have no idea where the break points are for the different colors.

Now that I look at it that appears to be right. I have guys who have lost 4 of their last 5 but still have around 500 pp and are orange.

From looking at mine the break is at 133 and -133
