Thumbs up Pretty good ESPN2 card on 8/8/07!

On August 8th, O'Neil Bell (26-2-1, 24 KOs) begins on his road back to the title when he returns to the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida to headline ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights against former world title challenger Louis “The Lion” Azille (19-3-2, 15 KOs).

Also scheduled for action on August 8th will be highly-touted middleweight prospect “Mean” Joe Greene (15-0, 11 KOs) and former world champion Raul ‘El Diamante’ Marquez (39-3, 28 KOs). Opponents for both fighters will be announced shortly.

The ESPN2 Friday Night Fights telecast begins at 9pm ET / 6pm PT

Bell/Azille has the makings of a really good fight. Both guys can punch so there should be a lot of fireworks. This fight will probably not go the distance and by no means an easy comeback fight for O'Neil.

I'm looking forward to seeing who Greene and Marquez are going to have as opponents but it sounds like it's shaping up to be a good card.

Yeah those 2 undercard fighters could headline cards - Raul as a former champ or Greene as an unbeaten puncher with potential.

Saw Greene at Turning Stone in his 5th pro fight in '05. It was the last bout conducted at the IBHOF induction weekend. He was highly touted, even as a beginner.
