Joe Bugner's nationality

I'm aware that he fought under the UK flag but what nationality was he? I know Bugner was born in Hungary but then fought in England and Australia. The reason i'm asking is because I have the flags for the different countries under the UK and would like to put him under one of those flags or Austrialia instead of the Union Jack.

Within the UK you would put him under the Cross Of St George (England)

His family apparently fled Hungary to avoid the Communists. They settled in the county of Cornwall which was the birthcounty of Bob Fitzsimmons.
