Povetkin vs. Donald (Google Video)

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...31566923889550

Povetkin has some real fast hands and it looks like he has improved his defense since his fight with L'Heureux because Donald had a tough time landing his jab and putting any sort of offense together. Povetkin looks like he's going to be a beast at heavyweight.

It's rumored that he might face Chris Byrd or Lamon Brewster in that upcoming IBF elimination tournament.

If they give Brewster another high profile fight they are crazy. He pretty much quit against Wlad and stated after the fight that he was thinking of retiring. Once a boxer starts to think about retiring, he is retired.

Bryd might be able to give him a tough time for a few rounds.

I agree about Brewster. His heart isn't in it anymore. He should just retire and enjoy watching his kids grow up.

Povektkin would be troubled by Byrd's slick boxing skills at first but if he can corner him and get to the body and throw punches in combinations, Povetkin will KO Byrd late.

That fight will be similar to Ike's KO of Byrd around 9 years ago.
