New to this game...how do I update and add fighters?

I just bought TBCB, how do I add fighters and keep it up to date? I was looking for guys like Evander Holyfield and James Toney and noticed they were missing from the original game. If someone could help me with this id appreciate it

Holyfield and Toney should be in the database that came with the game. Go into the mods section, there are a ton of threads with user created fighters. Also cornerwork.com has a lot.

i am also new to the game so thanks for the post!

i will have to check the other site out. the fighter i am looking for is lw Vernon Paris, east side boxing compares him to Pernell Whitaker, potentially better.

let me go check and see if I have him .. pretty sure I have nearly everyone made.

TBCB3 late this year or early next year will have an on-line database that you can access through the game so there will never be a need to search and download fighters again.

Nope I don't have him. I am currently making a list of the top 100 current fighters in each weight group and the rating team will be working off of that, he is #55 according to boxrec so he will be made.

Unfortunately you will probably have to take a stab at rating him yourself or wait until the next version comes out because we won't be posting new ratings for a while because we would like to include them in the new database.

well, i'm no boxing expert so i went on what east side boxing said and just copied pernell for now with adjustments to personel info, but thats probably not fare at this point in his caree, he is fighting on the TUA card in Mt Pleasant MI on 9/7, i only live about an hour away, i am trying to get tickets, it would be my first pro fight! exciting.

I have an ex-wife in Kalamazoo so I try to stay out of Michigan ... maybe next time they have a live event at Star Plaza in Merrillville IN we can meet up. 4 hour drive from Louisville to Merrillville.

when I download a fighter, how do i add it to the list. in other words where do i dl the fighter profile to? and what program do I open it with

just save it to a file somewhere you'll remember then go to the side menu on the fighter screen, hit import fighter and guide to where you saved the file.
