Not quite, but because I have been sick for the last few days, I just happened to be watching a couple of innings of the Blue Jays baseball game, and she was sitting by the dugout, and the announcers mentioned her a couple of times.

I'm sorry, Marissa is not one of the 4 best dancers left on that show, no way is she better than Mario! They talked about it on a local radio station this morning & the main DJ said he thinks it's all the Jenny Craig ppl across the country voting for her. I'll admit, she's nice, is bubbly but this isn't a personality contest. Heck, Mario's a real nice guy too & a better dancer.

While I do agree with you, this show just like American & Canadian Idol is based on popularity, and that is what matters in the end otherwise how did Kelly Monaco ever win when she fell in season one, and was still given a perfect mark.

You mean the judges gave Kelly a perfect mark? I forget who she was up against in the final. I do recall the year Drew won it, he did that cowboy # & jumped over Cheryl's head to start the dance. Stacy Keebler was great all season but her final dance was pretty safe & boring. Drew brought it in the final showdown & walked away with the title. At least he's a good dancer too. I'm afraid Mike could be right in that Marissa keeps sticking around. I think she has her fat block of voters who vote for her no matter what.

I will say at least Kelly was a good dancer for the entire season she won & she looks like a dancer. I'm still amazed Marissa is so heavy, you know they work hard now preparing for 2 dances a week & she doesn't appear to have dropped much/any weight. What & how much does she eat to maintain her weight/size?

Yeah I agree with pretty much everything said here. Fat women watch this show and they are voting for her for that reason only. She doesn't seem to have lost any weight at all.

That said watching the top 10 could they have picked a worse #1? Where was the dance Leila did in front of her dad? Also Mel B, Apollo or Drew's cowboy dance should have been #1. That tango was pretty weak.

Good seeing Mel B and Maksim again.

I may be wrong about this, but I believe she only got 13 or 15 one week early on, and I think the network possibly got backlash after she won in the final over John O'Hurley, and that may have been why they had the dance-off.

You said it Mike! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that, thought maybe I was being too hard.

Amen brother, Drew's cowboy dance & Cheryl in boots & little shorts was all good! - it should have made it.

Also agree about Mel B, she is hot & she's one who really tightened up after being on the show & had a baby. Marie & Tia Carrera are 2 others who really slimmed down.

couple of notes from last nights show

1) How freaking cute was the little Mexican girl

2) Ashly Del Grasso has gotten smoking hot after her baby ... good to see she will be back for Season 7 in August

3) The 13 y/o girl was fantastic

Cheryl has been on since season 2 ... her and Tom are always teasing each other.

Yes, the 13 y/o sure was, talked to our receptionist about her here today.

I just never noticed it before as much between Cheryl & Tom, don't blame him - I'd joke with her too!

The new avatar is one I pilfered from another site. She's a fitness model named Jamie Eason & she's 32. She's got a great body for someone 18 or 22 but 32? Holy cow!

I saw on dial idol that Cheryl was in third last night .. so hopefully not.

They are still going on about Paula Abdul next year .... I think if they have her they should pay Travolta whatever he wants to be it on it balance it out LOL

Yeah, that Paula thing might take hold. Maybe to keep things new/fresh, they'll have a semi-pro version of the show. I still wonder if they'll ever have an all-star version with previous stars?

I was thinking there are still 2 guys left this season so if a woman finally wins the show again, it's all up to little Kristy - a person I've met & spoken to I might add.

Well Jamie is smokin, and I never did say that my favorite female dancer is Cheryl Anne, well that would be a combination of Cheryl and Julianne for the reason that when you combine their ages they are still younger than me.
