Kirkland showed some heart getting up off the canvas to stop Conyers in what had to be the longest 3:00 round in the history of boxing. I'm not 100% convinced Kirkland was hurt. Looked like his glove touched and then he was stumbling backwards, it was definitely a knockdown. Conyers got stupid thinking he hurt Kirkland and got knocked loopy.
Ref should have stopped it sooner. Angulo looks like the real deal, he just destroyed Archak. |
