Fight You'd Like to
Something someone else said made me think of this.
Name the ONE fight you'd most like to see happen in 2008. No cheating like I usually do. Mine would be Wladimir Klitschko and Ruslan Chagaev for the undisputed heavyweight title (Wlad would have to beat Ibragimov and Ruslan would need to whip Maskaev or Peter first). Cap

Mayweather - Cotto, though PBF says he is on hiatus, there is always hope. I think the right money would do it, though this fight would be hard pressed to generate the cash flow his fights with De La Hoya and Hatton did.

Wlad vs PBF.
![]() But seriously, I would have to agree with Cap. Any fight that brings us closer to a unified World Heavyweight Champion works for me.

I'd love to see that one but if Floyd won't fight then Cotto vs Paul Williams would be interesting to me.

Any fight in 2008?
Israel Vazquez-Rafael Marquez V (I know, that's really three fights . . . screw it, Vazquez-Marquez XXII)

As long as it's on NBC, this way, you can actually see it

A little different path for me:
Amir Kahn v. Michael Katsidis: a good "crossroads" bout for both Khan made such short work of Graham Earl, who in turn went five hard rounds with Katsidis...let's see if the pressure of Katsidis can break down Khan, or if Khans speed & agility are enough at this point to handle Katsidis. This one could tell us a lot about either guy. Last edited by Bronx Bomber 15 : 12-25-2007 at 02:25 AM. |

I sooo almost went there, but I thought it would have been a little sketchy. Having said that, I'm glad someone did!

you just Heavy biased Cap. Way better boxing down below. When was HW great anyway? I can't remember. When Ali beat Liston or when Tyson beat Spinks?
HW has never been top notch to me. Those "little guys" are the money makers and what keeps the sport alive. Imagine if all we had was HW to watch. Boooooooo!
