One Super Bout
If you could put on one bout featuring any two of history's great fighters from the beginning of the gloved era to modern times, who would you pick?
I have to say, that mine would have to be Jack Johnson Vs. Sam Langford. There's just something really unjust in the way that Langford, at the height of his powers, from around 1910 to 1915, was refused a chance to fight Jack Johnson for the heavyweight title. That would've been a classic! If Johnson had defended against Langford, it would've earned him a ton of respect. Cap

Ali vs. Tyson. I am curious of how good Tyson was in his prime, compared to the greats in the 60's and 70's. I would also like to see Tyson fight Holmes in his prime.

Nah, thats her usual expression. She is a bit out of my league so I feel really lucky to wake up with her every morning.

Good pick!
Speaking of "Mac's", Mike McCallum against Hagler, Hearns, Sugar or Duran would have been a great fight.

Since I have always supported the idea of unified titles how about
Salvador Sanchez vs Eusebio Pedroza. This one should have happened. Greg

Nice!! . . . for when you've got 42 seconds to kill on a rainy day
(Reminds me of the Dec. Showtime card I had not seen. I watched it via my cable system's On Demand service and was overjoyed when before watching it I saw the program was only 40-odd minutes long . . . I knew it would not be boring!)

For pure power and a don't blink type fight -
Julian Jackson Vs John Mugabi (JMW). Or J. Jackson Vs T. Hearns (JMW)... ________________ A LW fight between a prime Sweet Pea and Duran ________________ Pure action and heart....a fight between prime Frazier and Holyfield _______________ Top JBW of all time K. Galaxy Vs S. Kil Moon ________________ A great Jr. Fly fight that should have happened without quesiton - Ricardo Lopez Vs M. Carbajal (JFly) Last edited by meade95 : 01-06-2008 at 01:10 PM. |
