Google Book search and titles in public domain

Marty Mulcahey shared this information with me and I'll pass it along.

With Google Book Search it is possible to find downloadable editions of some books now in public domain. In the advanced search mode it is possible to limit reuslts to "full view" for search for these complete texts.
You can also search by author title and subject. (the subject search is not entirely trustworty. A boxing subject did not inculde the result i got when searching for pugilistica by title)

Wish there was an easy way to download them. Google's interface is slow and crap. (The boxing register one.)
