Ok thanks Mike. Just did a small handful first and wanted to make sure it was working since I switched over to the new computer.

Not sure what happened ... there were some on the 6th that I don't remember approving but I lacked sleep this week. Just took care of all the ones you uploaded this morning.

I tend to only watch movies once they are on HBO or Showtime, unless my lady friend and her daughter rent them. I'd like to see Hitman, but she ain't gonna be renting that! I've been trying to get her to watch an old classic, Road Warrior, but it isn't a happening thing.

I'm not sure i understood your elitist comment. I do know that, for me, I'm just getting back into modern boxing after years spent with the Quaker and then Buddhist ex-wife known as Psycho Bride! I view you guys as helpful, not elitist, posters who provide a lot of insight! Today, after being apart for 3 weeks, I will make the 71.5 mile trip to see my friend!

As for beer, that is something that is always fun to talk about, but I prefer to do it while consuming it! Being as Irish as O'Leary makes me, I'll be celebrating through Monday, starting with a sushi and beer brunch this morning!

Edited that part out of your and my post Mike .... I was taking a parting shot at someone and I shouldn't have.

I buy a lot of movies ... I have "Hitman", I'll let you know tonight if it is any good.

Surprisingly good movie ... I have played the game and they stayed true enough to it to keep the gamer satisfied (like showing him from behind like the video game view) and yet had a much deeper story. I could see this turning into a series. Better, IMO, than Resident Evil.

Timothy Olyphant was an excellent choice to play the part, despite all the moaning about it. Everyone seemed to want Jason Statham but I think his height would have been an issue in the film. Statham is 5'8" and Olyphant is 6'.

It was worth the purchase alone for the nudity of Olga Kurylenko ... very nice and she is also the next Bond girl

I thought the Kingdom was excellent. An outstanding performance by an actor named Ashraf Barhom

I thought August Rush was excellent .. outstanding performances by everyone in it. Keri Russell has two very strong performances between this and Waitress. Hated seeing Williams play such a creep but he was good in the role. Terrance Howard is great in everything he is in as is Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

The real story was how great the kid was in it though.

You are correct everyone was great in there roles. Speaking of Terrance Howard this guy has to be the busiest man in Hollywood. He seems to be in every movie that comes out.

I didn't care for "I Am Legend'" although my wife liked it. Pretty good action though!

I rented three movies this weekend, I am Legend, No Country for Old Men and Into the wild. And I enjoyed Into the Wild more then the big blockbusters. It's a true story about a kid who goes on a life journey to Alaska, won't give out more then that but I really enjoyed it.

I've been told by 3 or 4 different people that if you can stay awake in the first 30-40 minutes of Into the Wild it is a good movie. I don't see how I could get through it ... I couldn't get through the first 20 minutes of "Eastern Promises".

Looking forward to seeing No Country for Old Men.
