Overlooked - Al Silvani

Al Silvani was one of the greatest trainers of all time, and only Ray Arcel, Whitey Bimstein and Eddie Futch ever trained more champions in their careers.
I have playtested a version of Al Silvani based on some of the fighters he trained with relatively accurate results. If anyone is interested let me know and I will post his ratings.

I agree with you. I was wondering why he wasnt included since he trained several great fighters. He was in the last version, but when I went to look for him, he wasnt there. I created him for myself, but I would be interested in your ratings if you want to post it.

My Stepdad and him were very good friends I met him a few times it was really cool talking to him about the old time fighters. I actually met him and Tami Mauriello one afternoon after school one of the coolest days ever, Tami was telling me about his fight with Joe Louis and how he dropped him but proceeded to get knocked out. He Really looked like a fighter, by the time I met him he was well into his 60's and had so much scar tissue and the cauliflower ears and his hands were huge. Him and Al were really great. Al even told me how him and my stepdad used to spar together when they were younger. My stepdad was alot older then my mom so he knew alot of the older fighters from the neighborhood he was also good friends with Steve and Mike Belloise. Mike was even the world featherweight champion for a short time. Great memories from my childhood.

Yes he certainly was the cutman in a couple of the Rocky movies, as well as the technical advisor on many boxing films. Al also acted in several films having small roles in From Here to Eternity, Ocean's Eleven and Fat City.
