In doing some research on former Kronk trainer Luther Burgess I came upon
some info on Hedgemon Lewis that stated Lewis had never been knocked down in his career, but his ratings for knockdown do not reflect this, and are rather high.

Lewis was stopped a few times in his career so the TKO rating seems quite accurate. Any thoughts. The excerpt came from a book by Lindy Lindell called Metro Detroit Boxing published in 2001.

He was TKO'd 4 times which would mean that each stoppage was either on cuts or he was taking too many punches while on his feet. I looked at boxrec and they also didn't list any knockdowns.
