TB 2.5 History Utility BETA
I updated my utility to create HTML files from the game of the fight history, but there are some problems with it. The worst possible case is happening, it works perfectly for me, but no one else seems to be able to get it working right (meaning finding the problems is extremely difficult).
So I'll ask some of you to help test this thing out. Download the program, READ THE readme.txt FILE, and then run the program. It should output your TB 2.5 history to html files in the location specified in the readme.txt file. Let me know what happens. If the program crashes, let me know: What OS you are running, if there are any .html files being created (in your \SavedGames\NameOfGame\ directory and the SavedGames\NameOfGame\HTML\ directory), and how long the program runs before crashing. In fact, let me know if it works perfectly fine for you as well. EDIT: Uploaded a new version (4:47 EST). EDIT #2: Fixed bug that was swapping records. New version uploaded. (7:43 EST) EDIT #3: Fixed bug that messed up assignment of title fights to organizations. (9:30 EST) Link is up to date now. History Utility Thanks to anyone who helps. I think I fixed the problems that caused it to crash.

This appears to work perfectly. Thank you!
I assume that the parenthetical number is the current when streak - correct?

The last iteration never worked well for me but I think it may have been because I had a large universe converted from v. 1.0
This time, I have a universe created in v. 2.5 and there are no issues, I would assume that anyone having trouble is using a converted database?

First time you run the program: Set the "Year" to the first year of your universe (or before). So if you started in 1971, the first time you run the program, set it to 1971. Second time and on, set the Year to the current year your universe is on. That makes it so the program doesn't recreate a lot of the files and cuts down the time for people with a large history. You don't have to use it. If you started in 1900 or later, you can leave it at 1900 and the program will work fine every time (it doesn't start outputting until it finds fights to output). If you started in the 1800s or before, then you'll need to change it, but I figure the vast majority of people were starting in 1900 or later so I put the default there. |

Cap I read about it on a very outdated post (about 4-5 years ago) from what little I know about it it outputs the history as an HTML file. More to come once I play with it.

ooohhhhhhh this is NICE!!!!!!!!!
Cap what it does is that your uni that you are running it basically takes the fight info from that uni and converts it into an easy to read html format. I have a few outdated leagues and I'll post up pics of the results..This is INTERESTING! Love to have something like this for 2.6 and beyond. |

Just a few sample pics for you Cap this was one of my older league that I ran for a while. It starts off with a history overview and if you want to get specific then you can select either the title(s) or a particular month. This is great whoever did this....What it will not do is a blow by blow but thats fine still this is VERY good and will for sure help me in my large uni that I am currently creating.
