WNF 4/30 (spoilers)
Good fight with Joel Julio (finally) vs. Ishe Smith.
Julio's loss (like Cotto's win) to Quintana is looking better and better all the time now. I'd like to see him make a run at a title shot this year. |

Shobox LOL ... Andre Dirrell LOL ... wow what a piece of crap that one is. As much as I try to watch everything boxing, I may have to miss that one.
I've never been able to find Telefutura or mundo on my cable either. |

Smith wins a close UD. Julio is the same fighter he was against Quintana. He tries to bully his opponents against the ropes and looks for one punch and a fighter like that will always have trouble against slick boxers.

Off on that one 87 ... Julio looked much more professional in this fight. He was patient with his agression and put together his punches well. He actually looked good against a fighter that is tough to look good against. Smith tries to be Winky Wright but just isn't.
Once again if you face a pure survival boxer like Smith and land more punches at a higher accuracy % then it was a good night. I had it more toward the 97-93 score can could have even gone 98-92. |
