Your 2nd one is quite a pick Mike!

I saw the end of a Direct TV ad & it was for the Forrest fight. It seemed like for Direct TV viewers, they were charging $24.95 for that fight. I'm not sure I saw that correctly but if true, I didn't realize Direct TV subscribers had to pay for fights that are not PPV fights for cable subscribers.

I have seen cable advertise HBO or Showtime fight cards for $$$ but I just always assumed it was for those who didn't have Showtime or HBO.

I'm banking on Williams struggling to make weight.

Yeah, that makes sense.

My brother said he thought Williams was the betting fave, I told him what you said & I think he's thinking of betting on Carlos.

I like Forrest by the 7th round and Quintana by a wider decision than last time. I don't think Mora belongs in the same ring with Forrest.

What a win for Williams! I never thought he would KO Quintana in the very first round. That's the best way to avenge a loss.

Wow,never expected a first round demolition by Williams but I think the guy is for real and would give any WW fits. Quintana is a damn good fighter..that is one impressive win for "The Punisher"!

Gotta love upsets.....I wonder who Mora will fight next? He should hold onto the JMW belts.

Yeah, you have to love boxing. Looked like he had a bad night when he lost his title. Now Paul looms as another big fight for the winner of Cotto/Margarito.

I was way off on this one .... Mora was very impressive. Maybe he was right and he gets up for big fights. Was it me or did Williams sit down on his punches? If he did and has learned that, he is going to be tough. He looked far more comforable at the weight last night then he did in the first match.

Back to Mora ... I thought Forrest won 4 of the first 5 rounds then Mora won the rest. I had it 116-112. Glad they didn't steal it from him. He is so quick and awkward. He's a complete idiot if he abandons the title and moves back up to MW.

Mora should hold on to the title and take some chances in a relatively wide opem JMW division. There's plenty of fights out there.....Mosley, Mayorga, De La Hoya, Phillips, ect.

Should Paul's PP be higher than 5 or was last night just a case of where he went for the KO so his PP increased?

Also, I have Mora rated as a 6 overall, does his rating need to be tweaked or did he just fight an old Vernon?

I think a 6 is probably about right for Mora ... his style is awkward like Mayorga's (except with no power) and that style has given Forrest fits.

I don't have his ratings in front of me but Mora's defense should be pretty good ... he rarely gets hit solid.

True, he doesn't - it's (-2).

Well Forrest retained his WBC JMW title via an 11th round uppercut KO of Mora in my uni.
