I'm not sure vista, I found her on a thread "Hottie of the Day". I like that pic, can't quite put my finger on why though?
Probably the way she wears that cowboy hat & boots but that's just a wild guess? Let's call her Cowgirl. |

Yeah,I am a stats guy that likes the real names of players and such. I used to love Strat board game and played for hours. I like action pc but I am still waiting for a game that is accurate statistically but has at least decent graphics. Imagine calling a play and watching it unfold Madden style..but with realistic stats and such. I guess we can all dream. I vaguely remember a game in the early to mid 90's called NFL Proleague or something to that effect..pretty good sim as well.

Second & Ten Football
If you are looking for a very accurate yet playable college/pro grame, try Second and Ten which can be found at Roogames. The people who play and support the game remind me a lot of the folks in this forum--their forum is also very active. Player pics, crowd sounds, stadiums, etc. Also, they are very concerned (almost obesessed) with accuracy--sound familiar!
Besides a very active and helpful forum---the designer is very involved and answers ALL questions immediately---there is an added bonus. They offer free ratings of over 2,000--yes two thousand ---college teams FREE! The teams range from the late 1940s to present. Moreover, the past five years have ratings for all the conferences--they also do IAA teams and small colleges. I've been playing sports simulations since 1962 and graduated from board games to computer simulations fifteen years ago. I played Haffner, etc. but SAT is, to me, the best. Let me put it this way, TBCB fans who like football simulations will find Second and Ten Football to be a very comfortable experience. The same sort of involvement by the players that we see here is present in SAT, and like TBCB, the creators are not just interested in turning a buck. Check it out!!!! |
