I would play it here and there but TBCB is the only game that has ever held my interest ... loving the on-line league. Good group of guys. One guy on the board has been ordered to always post a picture of a nude girl everytime he posts ... I think he lost a bet or something.

There isn't much PC going on there

Also one interesting thing he does is have a sportsbook. You can bet on 3 games a week and win points which you can use to up your prestige or up a player's ability in the off season. It doesn't effect it much but it's entertaining.

The baseball game is pretty good, not a career function though but the football game almost got me to quit sim games completely it was so horrid. Maybe I didnt give it much of a chance but with the board game I had Emmitt Smith(prime) fumble 3X in the first quarter and never played again. The computer version I bought around 02 and it seemed to me that is was impossible to play good defense and stop that stupid flat pass the computer would do every down. The scores of most of the games were 35-31, even the computer vs computer games would have both teams in the 30's. I didnt think it was very realistic.

Yeah and now the league joined up with another league for a big site

Big League Sports Net - BLSN

So now I have two teams in the DIAA league (Morehead St. and WKU) and I just took over Purdue and BYU in the D1 league (Lee I will try not to run your Cougars into the ground!).

Not only that now it looks like I will try my first OOTP league ... guess I have no time for the wifey anymore ... anyone want her LOL.

Welcome to Hofstra by the way!

Data-driven football is a great game. It's a computer version of Paydirt football. You can play online using net meeting. It would be nice to play titlebout online against you guys.

I've had a league using action since 2000. I've also played strat-o-matic football which isn't like playing football at all. You are playing strat-ball.

Thanks for all the replys guys. For the College games are the ratings just team based or by individual player. If by individual player is it like Madden where they just cant use there name but you can input it?

Action PC is a replay right? Not a career sim?

Action PC Football is a really solid Football sim. I've been playing it for about 10 years on and off.

Title Bout is so addicting, though, that I find it hard to really get interested in other replay or sports sims like I do with boxing. A single fighter can generate as much interest as an entire team in other sports. And with all the fighters, there are so many scenarios that can result it keeps the interest going much longer than season sports. At least with me it does.

Strat-o-matic is better for basketball and baseball. I prefer action in football. As soon as someone puts out a game that has detailed plays with player ratings that plays realistically, they are all out of business.

There was a board game about 15 years ago: Pro Football Fantasm that was the best football type game that I ever played. They had play cards that incorporated player ratings. Pro Football Strategy was also a great game.

I sure hope that doesn't happen with our boxing game.
